The following was written on October 18th 2021

This Past week I Began 3D Modeling the main player character (Dracula), and made substantial headway. I’ve completed body, hands and feet, and connected everything. The model looks a little funky when it comes to muscle anatomy so I’m unsure how it will look in a portfolio by itself, but for the purposes of this project I think it looks good.

The biggest obstacle I encountered were losing track of time. I didn’t account for how much time I’d lose going home for October break, and I didn’t do incremental saves or hours logs for my work. Time Management will be a big issue for me, and its a bit scary to already see it rearing its head.

Accounting for something I missed, I’ve added a week for UV unwrapping and a week for texturing, shading etc, although I hope these do not take an entire week each. Better to over-budget time instead of under-budgeting though.

My plan for this upcoming week is to finish the head. My only concern is that I haven’t modeled hair before, and am intimidated. Unsure if I can finish the head and do the hair all in one week, but I will try my damndest.
