The shop was easy to integrate into the dialogue system. I was combining two systems made by two different people with their own programming styles, so I was surprised with how little resistance I encountered. Truly a testament to the adaptability of Fluffy Game Dev‘s Dialogue System. I’d like to eventually add restocking and unique prices, but for now the system is A-OK.

The system works using a shop node which I was able to build based off the already existing nodes. When a shop node enters the dialogue channel, it activates a UI object which is populated with the inventory object held in the node. Altogether, it was a very easy process.
